Attorney Jean Hendren Ceddia is the principal of the Law Office of Jean Hendren Ceddia, LLC, located in Mystic. She has been practicing law in Connecticut since 2002. Her practice is focused in the areas of elder law, estate planning, including Wills and Trusts; planning for incapacity; conservatorships, and probate matters.
Attorney Ceddia is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association including its Estates and Probate and Elder Law Sections, and the New London County Bar Association. She is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and its Connecticut chapter. In addition to Connecticut, Attorney Ceddia is also a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois.
Attorney Ceddia graduated from Carleton College (B.A. 1983 cum laude) with a degree in Political Science and Washington University School of Law (1986). Prior to moving to Connecticut in 1993, Attorney Ceddia lived in Chicago where she practiced banking, corporate, and regulatory law.
Attorney Ceddia lives in Mystic where she raised her two children who are now adults. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dennison Pequotsepos Nature Center. She is a past board member of the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut (ETPCEC) and has served multiple terms as a member of the Grants Committee of the Community Foundation of South Eastern Connecticut.
