Message from Congressman Joe Courtney

Need to get tested for COVID-19? Here’s how and where to find no-cost testing

As we continue to see an uptick in COVID-19 rates across our state, access to no-cost COVID-19 testing remains a key tool in our efforts to contain the virus.

Our region’s health care providers are teaming up with community partners all over the state to bring, free, walk-up testing all across the district. To look up your nearest COVID-19 testing location by zip-code, and for information on how to register for a test, click here or see additional testing information below.

  • Community Health Center Inc. offers free, walk-up and drive-up COVID-19 testing across eastern Connecticut. While no symptoms or appointment is necessary, pre-registration is encouraged. For a full schedule or to register for testing, call 475-241-0740 or click here
  • UCFS Healthcare offers daily, free, drive-up COVID-19 at the Griswold Health Center in Griswold and the Edward & Mary Lord Family Health Center in Norwich, as well as various pop-up locations across eastern Connecticut. No appointment is necessary. For a full schedule and more information, click here
  • Hartford Health Care has recently expanded their COVID-19 testing capabilities. Testing is available at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, operated by Backus Hospital, open 7 days a week from 8 AM - 4 PM. For more information, and for additional testing sites throughout the state, click here
  • Generations Health Care is offering drive-up COVID-19 testing at their Danielson, Putnam, and Willimantic sites. For more information on how to register, click here.
